Louise Duval is an artist and textile designer. Having trained as a textile designer in South Africa she now works from her studio in Kent, UK.
Designing and weaving creative, sustainable, durable handwoven items for homeware and fashion accessories.
Louise started Louise Duval Designs to share her love for weaving and to bring a touch of creative happiness to your home furnishings and fashion accessories.
Inspired by colour, yarn, pattern and texture, each item is individually handwoven, so there are likely to be small differences in each one. If you see an item that is out of stock and would like something similar please contact Louise (often yarn comes from different colour batches or becomes discontinued).
Challenged by sourcing recycled and sustainable materials, local yarns are used where possible; such as wool from the Kent Romney Marsh sheep and recycled sari silk yarn.

The Studio
Weaving Classes
Am happy to announce from January 2025 will be introducing weaving lessons to the studio.
Classes will be limited to 4 per session so we can make the most of the day.
Please note that a deposit is required at the time of booking with the remainder payable on the day.
